EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of this report is to seek Council’s determination of an application for Preliminary
Approval for a Material Change of Use under Section 242 of the Sustainable Planning Act to vary
the effect of The Noosa Plan and Maroochy Plan 2000 for a mixed use community title
development at Eenie Creek Rd, 99 & 191 Hollett Road Noosaville and 106 & 108-142 Tidswell
Rd Weyba Downs.
The application is before Council due to the degree of conflict with the local planning schemes
that affect the site, the scale and significance of the proposal and the level of public interest in the
application (1,071 submissions were received during the public notification period).
