Introduction

The Operational Management Plan (OMP) for 4 Pines Noosa is a comprehensive framework
designed to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the hotel. It serves as a guide
for management, staff, and stakeholders, outlining the procedures and policies necessary to
uphold the highest standards of service, safety, and community engagement.

The OMP is developed in accordance with the requirements set forth by local regulatory bodies,
including the Noosa Plan 2020 and the Risk Assessed Management Plan (RAMP).

Purpose

The primary purpose of the OMP is to provide a structured approach to managing the hotel’s
daily operations, focusing on critical areas such as noise control, safety and security, crowd
management, and environmental considerations. This document establishes protocols for:

   • Ensuring the safety of patrons, staff, and the surrounding community through detailed
emergency response and incident management procedures.

   • Managing operational impacts, including noise and waste, to minimize disturbances to
neighbouring properties and maintain positive community relations.

   • Monitoring compliance with local and state regulations, ensuring that the hotel meets or
exceeds the standards required for safe and responsible operation.

   • Providing staff with training and development opportunities to enhance skills, maintain
regulatory compliance, and ensure consistent service quality.

Scope and Application

The OMP applies to all aspects of the hotel’s operations, covering the management of facilities,
staff conduct, patron behaviour, and the physical environment of the premises. It is intended to
be used by:

   • Management and Supervisory Staff: As a guide for overseeing daily operations,
managing incidents, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

   • Security and Front-of-House Personnel: To implement safety measures, manage
crowd behaviour, and uphold standards related to noise control, complaint handling,
       and patron interactions.

   • All Hotel Employees: As a resource for understanding their roles, participating in
training programs, and following best practices for maintaining a safe and compliant
       working environment.

Compliance and Continuous Improvement

The OMP is aligned with the legal requirements of the Liquor Act, the Noosa Plan 2020, and
other applicable regulations, including workplace health and safety standards. The hotel is
committed to continuous improvement, and the OMP will be reviewed and updated annually to
incorporate regulatory changes, community feedback, and operational insights. This ensures
that the hotel remains a safe, enjoyable, and compliant venue for all patrons while maintaining
its positive relationship with the surrounding community.
