I would like to lend my support to the Development application submitted by U3A noosa for a material change of use for Michell House (64 Poinciana Ave Tewantin).

My wife and I retired and moved to Noosa in 2014 and as both new arrivals and recent retirees we had to “re-invent” ourselves in a new community.

I was encouraged to look at what U3A noosa had to offer. Now nearly 5 years on, U3A has become an integral component of my life.

U3A provides me with access to lifetime learning opportunities and regular social interaction and I am happy to report that through U3A I am busier now than when I had a full time job running a business in Melbourne.

This organisation is performing an incredibly valuable service to the local community and deserves favourable consideration in this matter
