Subject: Issue treatment devices/sumps from the refuelling area into the stormwater disposal
system

Dear Sir,
Please find following information in regards to Councils concerns regarding any proposed connection
of treatment devices/sumps from the refuelling area into the stormwater disposal system.

Envirotank are the Australian distributors and manufacturers of oil water separators under license
from “Premier Tech Aqua” and they are compliant to all the clauses of the British Standard – EN858‐
1:2002(E) and specifically achieves the discharge maximum of less than 5ppm of light hydrocarbons
and captures in excess of 95% TSS, silts, solids and organic matter.
The site specific stormwater treatment solution for the under canopy and tanker off‐loading areas
of Lot 21 RP 72829, Lot 1 RP 131598 will be a Clereflo CCS20‐40 full retention separator (No By‐Pass)
Our solution of the Clereflo CCS20‐40 full retention separator (No By‐Pass) and has a full retention
capacity of at least 8kL of light hydrocarbons.
Accordingly the proposed unit is fitted with the following,
 Automatic closure device (ACD) on outlet.
 Monitored electronic overfill alarm system.
 Wet sealed entry to prevent back flushing and flame access to separator.
 Water tight Fibrelite FL90 Access Cover preventing surface water entry.

Therefore the requirements of your Planning Permit No. OPW20/0108 MCU19/0089 being that in a
100 year flood event with 300mm of flood water above the FL of the forecourt the separator will
fully retain its full contents of light hydrocarbons, silts, solids and any organic matter will be
achieved.
In support of this we attach the following documents / Certificates of Compliance for your perusal,
    1. Premier Tech attestation of Conformity Certificate Class1 & Class2 ~ Bypass & Full Retention
Oil Water Separators. (certified as fully compliant to the relevant discharge class; of less
than 5ppm of light hydrocarbons Class 1)
    2. Test Report – BSI, Report No: 285/4102208‐2 to Conder Products. (5 pages)
    3. Test Report – BSI, Report No: 285/4075353‐Test Rig to Conder Products. (3 Pages)
    4. IECEx Certificate of Conformity certificate no – IECExBAS 11.0095 (4 pages)
    5. CCS20‐40 Drawings (3 Pages)
Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact the under signed.
Yours faithfully

Hazardous Area Terminals TB1 Load Parameters

The capacitance and either the inductance or inductance to resistance ratio (L/R) of the load connected to
hazardous area terminals TB1 must not exceed the following values:

GROUP CAPACITANCE INDUCTANCE OR_|L/R RATIO
(uF) (mH) (uH/ohm)
IIc as 46 74
IIB 7A 18.7 298
HA 27 876 596
The above load parameters apply where:
1. The external circuit contains no combined lumped inductance L, and capacitance C; greater than 1%

of the above values.
or 2.

or 3.
with a cable.

The inductance and capacitance are distributed as in a cable.

The external circuit contains either only lumped inductance or lumped capacitance in combination

In all other situations e.g. the external circuit contains combined lumped inductance and lumped capacitance,
up to 50% of each of the L and C values is allowed.

The L/R values shown are the worst case values that allow for a single 8 core cable being used.
