ORDINARY MEETING MINUTES                                                        18 OCTOBER 2018


2    PROPOSED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING - ORGANIC WASTE PROCESSING
     Council Resolution
     Moved:             Cr Jurisevic
     Seconded:          Cr Wilkie
     That Council note the report by the Manager Waste and Environmental Health to the Ordinary
     Meeting dated 18 October 2018 and agree in principle to:
     A.     Investigate the feasibility of developing an organic waste processing facility within our
            region in partnership with Unitywater, Sunshine Coast Regional Council and Moreton
            Bay Regional Council; and
     B.     Commit to a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to partner with the Sunshine Coast
            Regional Council, Moreton Bay Regional Council and Unitywater to undertake a
            feasibility study into developing an organic waste processing facility, subject to the
            signing of the MOU by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
                                                                                            Carried.

     The next Ordinary Meeting will be held on 15 November 2018 at the Pomona Showgrounds
     Hall, corner of Exhibition Street and Pavillion Street, Pomona commencing at 6pm.
