ORDINARY MEETING AGENDA 19 SEPTEMBER 2019
From Council’s point of view, it is an honour to serve a community that demonstrates so much
consideration and care for its fellow citizens. The community, including those in the neighbouring
Sunshine Coast Shire, have demonstrated their resilience in the face of such adversity.
There are hundreds of individual tales of heroism and altruism making up the story of the Peregian
Fires – too many to be identified here. It is appropriate for Council to take a moment to both reflect
on and warmly congratulate everyone involved.
