What this points to is how Construction activity itself contributes to the diversification
of the region’s economy, in line with the objectives of the Noosa Shire Economic Plan;
and in particular, we can see that two sectors in which there are medium to high skills
occupations (Manufacturing; and Professional, Scientific and Technical Services) are
set to support ongoing employment as a result of the construction of the proposed
facility.
