Hi Mark,

We have received your Notice of Not Properly Made
Application dated 30th September 2011 regarding the above
application.

As we understand from Council’s schedule of fees, the
application fee of $1,568.00 is for Prescribed Tidal Work applications that
have not been certified by a Registered Professional Engineer of
Queensland (RPEQ). We have included engineer signed plans and engineers
Structural Design Advice dated 16th September 2011 with our
application and therefore have included the fee of $1,000.00 as per the
schedule.

It is for this reason that we believe the application has
been properly made and look forward to your confirmation of this.

Regards,
Steve Belt
