INFORMATION REQUIRED
The information requested is set out below:
Issue
The location of the constructed jetty is essential in determining the setback of the jetty and the attached buffer to the prolongation of the side (dividing) between No 21 Wesley Court and No 23 Wesley Court. It is noted that the side boundary and the water front boundary of No 21 Wesley Court are not perpendicular to each other and the setback to the prolongation at the canal end of the jetty will be significantly less than the distance at the property boundary.
The current configuration of the jetty and the proposed plans provide for a number of vessels to be moored/stored in the waterfront of the subject site (2 boats, 2 jetskis, kayaks and the boat ramp) on the structures. The number of vessels has the potential to clutter the watercourse and impact on the amenity and view lines of the area.
Information Required
Provide a plan prepared by a licensed cadastral surveyor that indicates the location and setbacks/quayline of the constructed jetty and the buffers on the side and head of the jetty. The setbacks from the outermost corner of the jetty and buffers to the prolongation of the side (dividing) boundary between No 21 Wesley Court and No 23 Wesley Court must be clearly shown on the plan.
Indicate on the survey plans the reduced levels (relative to Australian Height Datum) of the various elements
Demonstrate that the constructed jetty and the buffers on the jetty and the associated structures/installations achieve compliance with Specific Outcomes O5 and O9 of the Watercourses Works Code of the Noosa Plan
Issue
The proposal includes a double jet ski lift adjacent to the jetty. It is noted that a modular double jet ski lift is currently located adjacent to the jetty.  Specific Outcome O7 of the Watercourses Works Code of the Noosa Plan does not support boat lifting devices (including boat storage devices) in this locality.
Information Required
Provide amended plans that do not include the double jet ski lift or any other boat lifting or boat storage devices
Issue
The constructed jetty is not in accordance with the original approval. The steps/levels are not consistent with the approval and the approved kayak step has not been installed. It is noted that the proposal includes a double kayak step that extends 900mm from the jetty edge and appears to impact on the ability to access the boat ramp for the subject site.
Information Required
Provide justification for the proposed kayak steps and demonstrate that the kayak steps do not impact on the ability to access the boat ramp.

The due date for providing the requested information is 20 October 2020. Please advise Council of your response to this information request in accordance with section 13 of the Development Assessment Rules.
If you do not provide a response before the due date, it will be taken as if you have decided not to respond to the information request and Council will continue with the assessment of your application.
