RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Asset Planning Manager and the Infrastructure Planning,
Design and Delivery Manager to the General Committee Meeting dated 15 October 2018
providing an update on the projects being delivered throughout the 2018/19 Capital Program.


REPORT
The purpose of this report is to inform Council of the overall status and associated activities of
the Capital Program for the first quarter of the 2018/19 financial year.

There are currently 96 projects listed in the 2018/19 Capital Program, with a total allocated
budget of $31,240,755. This is inclusive of all carryover projects and recent emergent works.

1.                        Multi-year Projects

There are a number of projects that were carried over from the 2017/18 financial year into the
2018/19 financial year. These include but are not limited to:

                       Hinterland Playground, Cooroy - $1.25m
                       Noosaville Library - $805k
                       Mary River Road Bridge, Cooroy - $1.2m
                       Noosa Heads Park Road Boardwalk - $5.2m
                       Noosa River Holiday Park Amenities (Small & Large) Upgrades - $652k

2.                        Completed Projects

Projects continue to be delivered across the capital program with many projects well underway.
Some recently completed projects include:

                       Maple Street Raised Crossing, Cooroy
                       Main Beach Boardwalk, Noosa Heads
                       Gympie Terrace Corridor Upgrade Stage 1, Noosaville
                       Station Street Carpark & Bus Turning Circle, Pomona
                       Donnelly’s Road & Cooroy Belli Creek Road Safety Improvements, Ridgewood
