1.0 PREAMBLE
With reference to the above development application, we hereby provide a response to Council’s Further Advice, dated 1 October
2021, by the due date, being 1 November 2021.
2.0 INFORMATION REQUESTED
Information Required
The submitted plan (2021-1087-13) and the comments do not address stormwater issues as follows:
a. It needs to be fully demonstrated where runoff from proposed Lot 201 is to be discharged. The plan does not include any
detail and the comments indicate that all runoff is discharged to Ward Street. While it may be possible to discharge roof
runoff to Ward Street (this has not been demonstrated) where does runoff from the other hardstand and yard areas go? As
the lot slopes to the rear, it would be expected that an inter-lot drainage system through Lot 401 will be required.
b. The submitted plan does not include any indication about where runoff from Lot 401 will be discharged. The linework
indicates a drainage line that ends at the front boundary with no detail beyond that point. It is noted that there is no kerb
and channel or other Council drainage system at this location.
Applicant’s Response
Please refer to the amended Engineering Plans prepared by Blackall Range Consulting Engineer included at Appendix A, which
addresses the above stormwater issues.
