EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Not applicable.
RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Personal Assistant to the CEO to the Planning & Organisation
Committee Meeting dated 14 October 2014 and endorse the Council meeting dates for 2015 as
shown at Attachment 1 to the report.
REPORT
At the Post Election Meeting on 2 January 2014, Council adopted its Council meeting structure
and meeting cycle for 2014. The meeting structure incorporates three Standing Committees and
an Ordinary Meeting and meetings are held on a 4 weekly cycle.
In consultation with the Mayor and CEO, a draft Council Meeting Schedule for 2015 has been
prepared for Council’s consideration (refer to Attachment 1). It is proposed to continue meeting
on a 4 weekly cycle.
Previous Council Consideration
The Council meeting structure and cycle for 2014 was adopted at the Post Election meeting on 2
January 2014.
