Attached to the e-mail Information Response (Engineering response & Waste Plan) - MCU18/0102.
RESPONSE TO INFORMATION REQUEST ENGINEERING ITEMS Address: 14-16 Mary Street, Noosaville Applicant/Client: Bounce Hostels MCU 18/0102 Item 2 & 3. Please find attached plan showing proposed kerb alignment and footpath. Kerb alignment has been based on proposed lane width of 3.5 and a 4.0m wide shoulder, however it should be noted that the existing lane width is only 3.2m. The drawing also shows an indicative cross section through the basement driveway. Please note that additional detail will be provided with the detailed design as part of the Operational Works application. Item 4. Although the kerb line has moved further away from the front property boundary it is not possible to provide a graded driveway entry to the basement carpark that provides the 1%AEP flood immunity, and hence removal of the proposed flood barrier, without major impact on the proposed buildings. The attached sketch shows the longitudinal profile of the driveway required to provide the 1% AEP flood immunity which would result in the loss of the first two units (4 in total) of the western building. Note it is not possible to push the building back due to the location of the existing sewer. Item 6. Please find attached preliminary drainage plans for the site. Detailed drainage plans will be provided at detailed design stage by the hydraulic consultant.
