5 CONCLUSION
This SWMP outlines how stormwater runoff from the site will be managed to prevent adverse impacts to the receiving
environment.
The proposed lawful point of discharge to manage stormwater runoff from roof, hardstand and upper ground surface
areas is the existing stormwater infrastructure located on Marcus Dunes Court.
Stormwater detention is not considered to be required as the proposal is for a residential development on an existing
lot. Stormwater treatment from the development site will be managed on site by the application of best management
practices (BMPs) to ensure no adverse impacts to the downstream environment.
The site is not impacted by flooding or tidal inundation.
By implementing the proposed stormwater management system, and providing adequate maintenance, the
downstream environment and neighbouring properties will not experience any adverse deterioration of water quality
as a result of the proposed development.
