Fig 13: Emergent relic habitat trees along the western boundary The development proposes to retain the northwest area of biodiversity significance. This can be achieved in perpetuity through the imposition of suitable conditions during development and placement of covenants over these areas at plan sealing stage. The southeastern portion of the site is an area of areas of Biodiversity Significance of approximately 4800m2, with 4215m2 of this area mapped as Koala Habitat Area. On-site investigation and a review of aerial mapping to 2008 for this area show considerably less area on the site representing areas of Biodiversity Significance at around 2400m2 (Fig 14 and 15). This vegetation is within a flow path, although some not mapped as riparian buffer area, it is proposed to be retained and enhanced as part of the development outcomes. This can be achieved in perpetuity through the imposition of suitable conditions during development and placement of covenants over these areas at plan sealing stage.
