ORDINARY MEETING MINUTES                                                             21 NOVEMBER 2019


     Council Resolution
     Moved:             Cr Pardon
     Seconded:          Cr Stockwell
     That Council note the report by the Community Development Manager to the Services &
     Organisation Committee Meeting dated 12 November 2019 and approve the 2019-20 Round
     Two Community Project Grants – Events provided in Attachment 1 to this report.
                                                                        Carried unanimously.
     Cr Wellington voted in favour of the motion.




4    2019-20 COMMUNITY AND ENVIRONMENT GRANTS PROGRAM                                         FUNDING        -
     COMMUNITY PROJECT GRANTS (ROUND TWO) - INFRASTRUCTURE
     Cr Stockwell declared a real conflict of interest in this matter (as defined in section 175D of the Local
     Government Act 2009) due to his position as Vice President of the Noosa Lions Football Club and Group
     Leader of the Noosa Sea Scouts. Cr Stockwell left the meeting room for the debate and decision on this
     matter.

7    REGIONAL ARTS DEVELOPMENT FUND - GRANT RECOMMENDATIONS - 2019-20
     Cr Wilkie declared a real conflict of interest in this matter (as defined in section 175D of the Local
     Government Act 2009) due to his position as President of the Noosa Arts Theatre Inc. Cr Wilkie left the
     meeting room for the debate and decision on this matter.

     That Council note the report by the Community Development Manager to the Services &
     Organisation Committee Meeting dated 12 November 2019 and approve the Regional Arts
     Development Fund recommendations for 2019-20 as outlined in Attachment 1 to the report.

12   NOOSA NORTH SHORE CAMPGROUND - FEES AND CHARGES AND INTERIM
     MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT
     Cr Stockwell declared a perceived conflict of interest in this matter (as defined in section 175D of the
     Local Government Act 2009) due to his role as Group Leader of the Noosa Sea Scouts where he is
     involved in setting the fees and charges for another not for profit campground in the shire. Cr Stockwell
     believed that he could consider this item impartially and in the public interest and requested to remain
     in the meeting room to participate in the debate and vote on this matter.
