These additional controls are to be maintained and followed: e Trolley collection must not occur after 10pm and prior to 7am; ¢ Compactor operational hours: o Monday — Wednesday, and Friday — Sunday: 8am to 6pm o Thursday: 8am to 9pm e Loading dock operation is to be limited to the time period between 5am and 9pm only, with refrigeration trucks idling limited as per Section 6.2. This idling shall only occur during the loading/unloading activity at the loading dock, and not whilst waiting to enter the loading dock or along the boundaries. In the case of refrigeration trucks, planned entry times could be scheduled before hand to ensure that no idling occurs along the boundaries or at the entry to the loading docks. e For all other trucks, with the exception of a short-time pick-up/drop-off within the loading dock, no idling should occur within the sites at any time. ¢ Other restrictions are listed in Section 6.2. Such restrictions should be included if not yet followed (e.g. signs installed at the entry and along the boundaries of the shopping centre loading docks and within loading docks). Furthermore, If trucks are to remain idling whilst waiting to enter the loading dock, it is recommended that this is done away from the site as otherwise the impacts can be adverse. 7.2 ACOUSTIC BARRIER Based on the assessment carried out in this report, the optimised noise barrier (minimum surface density of 12kg/m2) is indicated below. The barrier is determined based on the assumptions and modelling in Section 6 of this report and management and plant controls summarised in Section 7.1. It is noted that the overall heights indicated are taken from the loading dock level and can include the already existing 1.2 metre high block wall between Lot 21 and the loading dock (i.e. where a barrier is built over the existing block wall, the additional barrier constructed will be shorter). In any case, the barrier must have no gaps at the base and along the entire height and length of the barrier. z 8 : Additional = barrier z 5 s 3 a Blockwork = Loading Dock IMobs\2019\20191414\20191414.3\202110130BA_R9_DA_Noise_lmpact_Assessment.docx 21 Document Set ID: 21711315 Version: 1, Version Date: 24/11/2021
