Risks
Poor credit review outcomes can potentially compromise Council’s ability to borrow funds from
QTC, impacting on levels of service and ongoing financial sustainability should asset
management outcomes not be achieved.
Opportunities
Ongoing credit reviews by QTC allows for an ongoing ‘financial health check’ by a respected
independent body which will flag potential changes in Council’s financial performance and credit
rating (i.e. overall financial sustainability trends).
