ENGINEERING SERVICES REPORT Client: Thomco (No 2087) Pty Ltd Location: 215 David Low Way, Peregian Beach 4.0 FLOODING A flood level has not been defined by Noosa Council for this property, refer Flood Information Certificate (Cer16/3274). It is noted that no flood modelling has been undertaken for the locality of the site however it can be seen in Figure 3 that Noosa Council has carried out flood modelling on Lake Weyba. It can be inferred from Council’s on-line mapping that the Q100 event for Lake Weyba is approximately RL2.0m (refer Figure 3 and Figure 4). Further to this, the site does not fall within the flood hazard area nominated by Noosa Council (refer Figure 5). The proposed site has a minimum existing level of RL2.4 with a proposed minimum fill level of approximately RL3.5. The lowest habitable floor level is expected to be at approximately RL3.9 therefore there would be approximately 1.85m freeboard to the Lake Weyba flood level. Considering the above, it is apparent that this development is not be affected by regional flood waters.
