The noise logging includes road traffic noise from Elm Street, noise from the bowls club, noise from
other nearby commercial premises, residential noise including dogs barking and noise from other
fauna.

In addition to the average noise levels, and for the purposes of determining appropriate noise level
limits the Rating Background Noise Level has also been determined for each of the time periods.
This is also known as the average minimum sound pressure levels, or LAbgT and the results are
presented in Table 2.2.
