The filling of the site has taken place at the rear in an apparent drainage area and in close proximity to the area to be dedicated as “Park” in the higher order approvals MCU13/0251 and 152010/627.02. The submitted plan indicating the “stockpile” does not include any dimensions to position the “stockpile” and it’s extents

Information Required
Provide a site plan showing the surveyed extent of fill and the proposed “Park” boundaries as required by the higher order approvals. The plan must also indicate those areas of fill to be relocated to the stockpile area.
Provide a site plan that indicates the location and extent of the proposed “stockpile”. The “stockpile” must be located:
where it will not have off-site drainage impacts,
generally outside of the root zones of mature trees, and
to protect as much of the existing vegetation as practicable.

Provide an assessment by an RPEQ of the impacts of the fill:
on the drainage capacity of the site
any potential off-site impacts

Issue
The fill currently placed on-site is not controlled in regard to material and sediment and erosion control.

Information Required
Provide an assessment of the fill and site for acid sulphate soils. The assessment must be prepared by an RPEQ or suitably qualified person, and if acid sulphate soils are present provide an acid sulphate soil remediation management plan.
Provide a sediment and erosion control plan for the current extent of fill, any retained fill and the “stockpile”. The plan must also include methods to control “dust” from the fill and “stockpile”.
