QPWS views re development application MCU 16-0081
Attached to the e-mail PM Submission Object - Qld Parks & Wildlife Service MCU16/0081.
QPWS strongly opposes the proposed development on the basis of the potential risks to the health and safety of the proposed aged care residents and the potential impacts on the adjoining protected area estate. In addition, it is recommended that the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection (EHP), as lead agency under the Nature Conservation Act 1992 for the natural values not related to the management of protected areas, be further consulted in the assessment of this application.
