It might be best for me to request further extension on this app until 28.02.25.

 

I will work towards the original due date of 18/12/24 and decide then if no further issues are identified but just as a matter of precaution, it would be good to have the additional time/opportunity for you to respond should I need anything clarified prior to decision.

I have reviewed this app in a bit more detail and we can confirm that the application was properly referred, and a response was not provided from the relevant agency within the legislative timeframe, thus ending that period in accordance with 10.1 (b) of the Development Assessment Rules.

 

Noting we are in decision period, can we please request extension to the current period until 18/12/24.

I will have the opportunity to look at undertaking the remainder of assessment over the next week, have it reviewed etc.

 

Can you please advise if you are agreeable to an extension of decision period until the Wednesday 18/12/24?

I am providing an update on the ongoing challenge of the referral for this application.

 

Councils confirmation notice required referral to SARA, note below,

 



 

We spoke with SARA and they advised they are not the relevant entity for this referral, we communicated this back to the planning officer at the time Tara Norley.

 

Tara on behalf of Council then provided the following information,

 



 

We contacted the above, spoke with the relevant officer and lodged our referral to them on 25.09.2024 (attached) . We advised Council of this.

 

We followed up on two occasions to Allgas re the referral to be told in the first instance it was being looked at, the second instance to try a different email address.

 

This was lodged on the 18.11.2024 (attached) to a new email address at Allgas. We have not received a response from them to this as of yet. We have called twice to no avail or assistance.

 

The applicant has done everything within its ability to properly refer this application as required, but to date original information from Council was incorrect and the entity to which it is referred to are unable to provide a response.
