1am strongly opposed to Council supporting this development apolication. My reasons are as follows:

- There are already 2 NEW service stations vary close to the proposed new site. Neither is ever busy, day or night.
I've never seen queues of cars awaiting a petrol pump or fast food, therefore a shortage of supply in the area does nol
justify another service station.

- Another station will not benefit the community in any way. It will not introduce competition that reduces fuel prices at
the pump. It wil only mean Noosa Council is approving and supporting the petrol price cartel that exists in the area,
Every other station in Noosa charges exactly the same, well above stations oulside Noosa, and Council shoud aot be
seen to support this by allowing a dispropartionally large number of operators in such a tow population density area.

- 24 hour service stations feature highly visibie fnarsh and garish) signage and lighting. This is the direct opposite of
the image we labour to achieve for Noosa through restrictions on the height. size and type of sign permissible and a low
density town plan. There is enough garish lighting already on Edmundi Rd from existing service stations and their
businesses, and once ouill, Council seems ta be powerless lo enforce compliance with the Council aporoved plans,
