     2.4. Flood Considerations
Review of the Noosa Shire Council Intramaps flood layers including the Flood Hazards Overlay has
identified that the site is located outside of any flood or inundation areas within the locality indicating
it is not expected that that the proposed development will be subject to flooding.

     2.5. Acid Sulphate Soils
Review of the Noosa Shire Council Intramaps Land Subject to Acid Sulphate Soils Overlay identifies
that the site is located within Area 2 of the overlay, for lands between 5m AHD and 20m AHD. Acid
Sulphate Soil testing is typically required in areas with surface levels less than 5.0m Australian Height
Datum (AHD) as stated in the State Planning Policy 2017. The requirements for acid sulphate testing
are to be assessed by a geotechnical engineer prior to the detailed design stage of this proposed
development.
