       Response To Amended Plans

Dear Sir,
I wish to submit comment on amended plans and “Letter of Response to Further Issues”
submitted by Adamson Town Planning in respect of the above application. This comment is
made as an addendum to a properly made submission lodged with Noosa Council within the
statutory period.

I am a resident of Noosa Springs. I am also an architect registered in Queensland, New South
Wales and the ACT. I have extensive experience in architectural education, design,
architectural heritage and architectural technology.

My submission includes
  • This document
  • Commented planning report noted as Letter Response to Further Issues” by Adamson
      Town Planning Ref”16022 dated 14th February 2023
  • Attachment 1 Amended Proposal Plans – Marchese Partners
  • Attachment 2 Updated Landscape Concept Design Package – Place Design Group

This response is specifically limited to the amended landscape proposal and its use as a
function “processional way”. Responses by others will deal with issues of flora and fauna and
bushfire evacuation impacts.

I believe that the amended plans raise further issues in respect of the potential use of the
public areas as a Functions Facility and the potential for this use to
    1. Generate additional parking and traffic demand
    2. Exacerbate bushfire evacuation and response issues
    3. Generate noise impact not assessed in the acoustic report
    4. Develop a hotel a business model in competition with existing resort facilities.
    5. Develop a Land Use not specified in the application or in referrals to SARA
