                                                                                                                                                                                                   This area is mapped as an ‘area that is a
                                                                                                                                                                                                   least concern regional ecosystem’ by the
                                                                                                                                                                                                   Queensland Government Department
                                                                                                                                                                                                   of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy.

                                                                                                                                                                                                   removed. Supplemental plantings will be
                                                                                                                                                                                                   from the recognized Remnant Ecosystem
                                                                                                                                                                                                   plant list augmented by fragrant, dense
                                                                                                                                                                                                   and fine leaved shrubs to provide amenity
                                                                                                                                                                                                   and screening. Supplemental plantings will
                                                                                                                                                                                                   contain no less then 50% of less flammable
                                                                                                                                                                                                   plant species. A list of recommended ‘less
                                                                                                                                                                                                   flammable’ plant species is contained in
                                                                                                                                                                                                   Apendix III of Bushfire Hazard Assessment/
                                                                                                                                                                                                   Noosa Springs RFA17-040. The list has
                                                                                                                                                                                                   been derived from the Regional Ecosystem
                                                                                                                                                                                                   Technical Descriptions (Dept. of Science,
                                                                                                                                                                                                   Information Technology, Innovation and
                                                                                                                                                                                                   the Arts, 2012), for the Regional ecosystem
                                                                                                                                                                                                   12.2.5 or are ubiquitous in coastal
                                                                                                                                                                                                   vegetation communities.
