We would like our OPPOSITION  to this proposal noted.
We ask Noosa Council to completely REJECT this proposal.
We are local area property owners.  When we purchased our land over 27
years ago our deeds said  COOROY.  Noosa council in recent years changed
our locality from Cooroy to Ridgewood.  I would like to make this clear
because we are in fact very close to Cooroy and in the past were always
Cooroy.
During our lives lived right here we have never seen intensive factory
farming as is proposed in this particular meat chicken raising factory.
Let us be clear the area supports free range cattle, free range chickens
and organic farming.  This NEW ZONING OF LAND together with this UNTRIED
method of production is NOT LOCALLY SUPPORTED in our Noosa Council zoned
area.
We ask Noosa Council do you wish to endanger the lives of local Noosa
Council residents for a proposal which provides for one individual and
ignores all others?
This proposal will negatively impact on our local area of Cooroy in
relation to many factors not least
Financially due to decrease land values
The risk to organic production of food
Our only drinking water contaminated
Our air contaminated
Our right to live our lives free from excessive continual noise from
encapsulated birds
Our right to live free from the excessive odour from encapsulated birds on
a huge scale
TRAFFIC ,NOISE ,DUST ,ODOUR are all items that cannot be addressed
effectively by the applicant to eliminate risk to the health of locals and
tourists alike.
