Previous Council Consideration
Ordinary Meeting Minutes 15 June 2023, Item 5.4 page 6
That Council note the report by the Community Development Coordinator to the Ordinary Committee
Meeting dated 17 June 2024 and approve Round One 2024 - 25 Community Project Grants.
Finance
Traditionally, two funding rounds for Projects are run and budgeted for each financial year, with a
total of $324,780.80 allocated to Community Project Grants in 2024-25. This is the first of two rounds
for the 2024-25 financial year, with $131,932.18 of expenditure recommended in the first round and
$192,848.62 remaining for the second round. This will fully exhaust the 2024-25 allocated budget for
community grants. The numbers in this report reflect the draft 2024/25 budget as of 11 June 2024.
All decisions and outcomes from this meeting assume there is no change to the draft budget and
that it will be adopted by Council with sufficient available funds for the grants program.

sources.
All grants go through an acquittal process whereby the applicant reports on the funded project’s
