Development Summary

The proposal involves the construction of a two-storey commercial development consisting of
a trade hub and warehouse facilities. The development’s summary has been outlined in Tables

1.1 below.

1.2. Purpose

This Waste Management Plan has been prepared to address Council’s comments regarding
waste related matters as described below:

— For a development of this size the servicing of waste bins on the street is not feasible
therefore on-site servicing is required through a proper bin storage compound. The use of
bulk bins is recommended.

— It is worth noting warehouses generally produce a high litreage of cardboard and general
recycling bins would not be sufficient for this bulk bins <1100L allow access to our cardboard
service.

— Proper swept paths must be provided to allow the collection vehicle to either drive through
or have safe turnaround as per the vehicle specifications in the Noosa Plan. If 240/360L bins
are required it will be to Side Lift Collection Specs. If 100L bins are required, it will be to Rear
Lift Vehicle Specs (Smallest Truck) . If 1.5m3 or greater are required it will be to Front Lift
Specs (Largest Truck).
