Works Code

Whilst the Table of Assessment for the Tourist Accommodation Zone requires that Food and Drink
Outlet uses are to be assessed against the Works Code, as the proposed development is located
within an existing building and no changes to the external built form are proposed; assessment
against the Works Code is not applicable. The proposal represents a reconfiguration of the internal
and external outdoor dining areas. Refer to section 5.3 above in this report detailing the changes in
the use areas.

7.4 Applicable Overlay Codes

The subject site is affected by the Acid Sulfate Soils and Flood Hazard Overlays as determined by
Noosa Council’s Enterprise Mapping System. As the proposed Food and Drink Outlet is to be located
in an existing building with no changes proposed to the external built form, these Overlays and the
associated Codes are not applicable to this development. As such, no assessment against the
identified Overlay Codes is required.
