Attention: Mr. Will Koschade
Dear Sir,
REFERENCE: Submission to Development Application MCU16/0130 for
Proposed Material Change of Use of Premises at 101 Eumundi Noosa Road,
Noosaville
We wish to submit our objection to an apparent significant Material Change of Use
propcsed for the above premises.
We understand that the proposal under MCU16/0130 is for the land in question to be
rezoned so that it can be utilised for Retail Businessessuch as Hardware and Garden &
Lifestyle purposes and for Industrial Businesses involving Production, Alteration,
Repackaging & Repairing, Le. a factory and repair shop.
It is also our understanding that under the current Noosa Plan, the land betv.een
Headland Drive and the Lutheran College on the Eurnundi Noosa Road is currently
zoned for "Attached Housing". It is therefore difficult to cxmprehend how the propcsed
use changes are celli IeISUratewith this current zoning. Consequently, such changes as
propcsed by the applicant, could impact severely on existing and future surrounding
residential areas and on adjacent carrnunity services.
A significant increase in traffic flow through the new premises 'NOUld also be an
important consideration with the school pedestrian crossing just metres fran the current
site exit.
We submit the above COl II I e Its for your consideration and hope that Council will agree
that the propcsed material change of use may not serve the best interests of the affected
carrnunity.
Yours faithfully,
~ .
