We live in King Parrot Lane , off Top Forestry rd and it is a deadly section to be turning into our lane if coming from town as we have to turn into a blind spot and already on numerous occasions have almost been hit by vehicles driving into town as they can't see us till the last minute either. We worry that the big trucks using the road will be in a hurry to get their work done and will collide with one of us very easily . I myself do a split shift at work going out early in morning ,then coming home mid morning , then going back in afternoon & coming home again around 5pm , all times trucks would be using the road. Also the dust from the road mixed with diesel floating down onto our roof tops and ending up in our water tanks that get enough dust from local traffic already . There are many other concerns , SMELL,FEATHERS,WILD DOGS/ DINGOES ,SNAKES etc ... We are aware that we are loosing our farmers and we need to support them but we can't see that a poultry farm that isn't employing any extra locals , & using backpackers from Noosa area will help our town anyway as they come in on a mini bus and taken back by bus & don't even stop at Cooroy . Yours Sincerely Ken & Sue Morris 10 King Parrot Lane Cooroy West
