No groundwater was observed during the testing or inspection of the site, however,
possible seasonal water tables or seepage may be possible along the unweathered rock
layer.

STABLITY CONSIDERATIONS

The level of excavation intended over the site leads Lindsay Consulting Pty Ltd to
believe that the stability of the site will be suitable for this type of construction.

There were no signs of instability on the allotment. The location of the pool on this slope
does not in our opinion lead us to believe that slope stability will be a concern. DUE
TO THE NATURE OF THE SITE, ORGANIC PEAT MATERIAL OVER
LOOSE SANDS LINDSAY CONSULTING PTY LTD RECOMEND THE
PROVISION OF SCREW PILES INTO THE DENSE SAND MATERIALS
UNDER.

A landslip Hazard Frequency analysis has been carried out for the site and the proposed
works, refer Appendix E, and we conclude there is a low risk of site instability with the
pool located in its proposed location. The low risk of instability as defined in the
guidelines in the attached appendix does not exclude slope stability problems, only that
in Lindsay Consulting Pty Ltd’s opinion that the risk is low and may be management
through good hillside practises.

In our professional opinion, the present site conditions along with the proposed
earthworks detailed on the drawings specified previously do not pose a slope stability
issue with the site including associated buildings and infrastructure and that the stability
of the site will be maintained during both the construction and operational life of the
development. As such the works proposed, when carried out in a capable manner will
not lead to a slope stability problem.

Lindsay Consulting Pty Ltd further certifies that at the time of this report there were
no signs of stability issues with adjoining lands and as such the site is not subject to
risk of landslip activity originating from these other land. Lindsay Consulting Pty Ltd
clarify this statement in that any adjoining works or changes to existing works on
adjoining lands must be carried out in a professional manner and in accordance with
good hillside practices so as to not affect the stability of the adjoining land which may
inturn affect the stability of the subject allotment.
