INFRASTRUCTURE & SERVICES COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 23 JUNE 2015

2. Projects that will continue beyond financial year

As previously reported, there are two major projects that will continue on beyond 30 June 2015
and will carry-over into the 2015/2016 financial year. These projects have significant budget
amounts totalling $2.8m and impact on the overall project delivery and completion results. These
projects include:

 Noosaville Munna Point Bridge Stage 2 $1.4m
 Pomona Rifle Street Flood Mitigation $1.4m

It should be noted that the tender for the Munna Point Bridge closed on the 12 June 2015 and the
awarding of the contract is likely to be completed by early July.

3. Summary

The delivery and completion of projects for the capital program continues to increase and it is
expected that the majority of projects within the 2014/2015 program will have either been
completed or commenced prior to the end of June. The ongoing increase in construction
activities will continue through the month of June.

The current year to date expenditure including actuals and commitments totals $15.4m. This is
still below the original forecasted expenditure profile. However, the continued effort till the end of
the month will see the majority of the 2014/15 capital works projects either completed or
significantly commenced.
