SETTLERS COVE NOOSA Landscape Master Plan = = Pathways and steps throughout Residential High Density lots shall be illuminated with an appropriately designed external lighting layout. Lighting shall be strategically positioned in the form of: e Spot lights \ e Diffuse lighting recessed in timber bollards or feature walls parallel to path * Down lighting on selected landscape elements Feature plantings may receive landscape uplighting to enhance night presentation. Pools and water features will be if!tuminated in accordance with the approved lighting layout. Details of all landscaping materials and construction methods are to be consistent with the relevant Noosa landscape guidelines and will be documented in landscape operational works plans of approval. 16. RESIDENTIAL SINGLE LOTS - NOISE BARRIER To provide a noise barrier an acoustic fence to 2000mm height is required at the Noosa Drive Road Reserve Bushland and Residential Single Lots 24 — 33 interface. Although it is preferable that this fence be fauna friendly to allow for the passage of a variety of animal species, the constraints of the acoustic design and boundary alignments will limit the movement opportunities. . Within the constraints, however, it is still feasible to allow for some fauna movement particularly the Koala. Measures to provide Koala movement over acoustic fence are as follows: « Koala climbing poles/logs shall be evenly spaced (min. 5 locations). Climbing poles to be positioned vertically each side of fence (max. 100mm from fence). Poles to be properly secured via concreting and or bolted to fence posts. Fixings to be M12 galvinised bolts with washers and nuts. Climbing poles to be treated timber logs - Minimum diameter of climbing poles to be 175mm Materials selected for construction of the fence shall be non-reflecting preferably treated timber or other material to blend into the surrounding landscape. ase pa ee se as ee LandGraphics Maroochydore ~ 04.05.2005 Landscape Architects and Environmental Planners PAGE 25
