 SERVICE DELIVERY MODEL
 The lifeguard service is provided externally. The contract is for five years commencing 29 October 2022 with 1 X 5
 year option at Council’s sole discretion. The five year option expires 28 October 2022 (OM minutes 16 February
 2017, item 3, page 7). Council manage the lifeguard contract and the WHS audit is provided internally. Lifeguard
 towers are owned and maintained by Council. (Service was traditionally provided by volunteers but that model could
 no longer meet requirements for a 7 day week service.)
