Appendix C - Prelodgement Meeting Minutes
Noosa Council documents
7. It is suggested that the adjoining property to the west be consulted and the potential
impacts associated with the development be considered. This may inform the need for
buffering or the placement of buildings.
8. Consideration of the need for noise attenuation should be investigated with regard to
noise from the Bruce Highway.
Lisa Pienaar - Comments
1. Placement of buildings should consider the retention of existing mature vegetation as
much as possible.
2. If events are to be held on site, details of frequency, expected numbers, car parking
requirements need to be provided and likely impacts addressed. Design of water and
sewer provisions would also need to consider the impacts of additional numbers.
Mark Lewis - Comments
1. A report detailing water and sewer provision to the site needs to be submitted with any
application, along with a stormwater management plan.
2. Clearing in the road reserve for access should consider retention of vegetation as much
as possible and consider preserving some for buffering to the road. Consider that
bushfire provisions may also trigger clearing of more vegetation.
6. INFRASTRUCTURE CHARGES
A request for written advice for an Infrastructure Charges Contribution Estimate relevant to
your proposal may be obtained for a fee.
7. FURTHER ADVICE TO BE SOUGHT
You are advised to contact any relevant Queensland Government Agencies for their specific
requirements in respect of your proposal.
Yours faithfully
Lisa Pienaar
