The information requested is set out below:
Issue
Parts of the submitted engineering plan are not legible.
Information Required
Provide a digital copy (pdf) of the engineering design plan.
Issue
The size and depth of the low point in the driveway in the road reserve is not consistent with the original design of the typical swale drain in the road reserve.
It is noted that the subject site is near the top of the rise in Grosvenor Terrace.
Information Required
Provide comment from the design engineer that states that the low point in the driveway in the road reserve is sufficient to cater for 1% AEP event for the upstream catchment.
Issue
The constructed driveway to the adjoining property (No 12) will block the overland flow of stormwater from the low point in the proposed driveway. Council has concerns that this blockage will:
create ponding of stormwater on the road reserve,
create the potential for stormwater to redirect into the basement of the subject site, and
discharge to the road formation and create a traffic hazard
It is noted that the driveway constructed to No 12 is the subject of a separate operational works application that has not been decided at this time.
Information Required
Provide detail on the required works between the proposed driveway and the existing driveway (No 12) to address Council’s concerns.
Provide comment from the design engineer in regard to the potential issues raised.

The due date for providing the requested information is 14 April 2021. Please advise Council of your response to this information request in accordance with section 13 of the Development Assessment Rules.
If you do not provide a response before the due date, it will be taken as if you have decided not to respond to the information request and Council will continue with the assessment of your application.
