Dear Mark
We refer to Councils Information Request dated 2 March 2022 and provide the
following information in response:
1. Provide additional detail on the proposed vertical fenders
We have attached a copy of the Jetty Details Plan (JSP-SJ-35552 A) which shows the
details of the vertical fenders. Apologies for not including this with the plan set that
was supplied with the application.
2. Provide a more definitive RL for the jetty deck and provide amended design
certification that states that the jetty level will achieve compliance with The Coastal
Protection and Management Regulation 2017 – Schedule 3 – PO16.2
We have attached a copy of the architects side elevation plan of the proposed house
on this property which indicates the existing revetment wall RL of 1.24m which is
slightly higher (40mm) than what we have shown on our plans. The jetty is designed
to finish level with the existing revetment wall.
The jetty as shown on our plans complies with Acceptable outcome of The Coastal
Protection and Management Regulation 2017 – Schedule 3 – PO16.2 (a) (i) – the level
of the deck of the jetty or pier is at least 300mm above the water at highest
astronomical tide. The highest astronomical tide (HAT) for this area is RL 0.68m AHD
so the jetty at RL 1.2m would be 520mm above HAT.
