Consultation
External Consultation - Community & Stakeholder
The planning study is intended to inform the new planning scheme. It is not anticipated that there
will be specific community consultation on the document. When the New Planning Scheme
Directions Paper is released for public comment in the second half of this year, this document will
be publicised through the Your Say Noosa community engagement portal, along with other
endorsed planning studies and policy documents.
In respect to secondary on-site systems, Council’s ongoing audit is a positive response and
provides an opportunity for Council to engage with the community about the problems
homeowners may be experiencing and the best measures to overcome them.
Internal Consultation
The planning study has been prepared in consultation with Council’s Building & Plumbing Branch
and Planning & Environment Branch.
