Dear Nadine,

RE: Development Permit Applications for a Boundary Realignment Application, a Minor
Change for Operational Works- Landscaping (OPW20/0145.05) and a Minor Change for
RAL20/0018, located at 63, 65, 67 & 69 Hofmann Drive Noosaville (Childcare).

I am writing to formally request a reduction in the application fees totalling $9,657 associated
with the following development applications submitted to Noosa Council, required under the
Childcare Deed (Court Order Ref: No.1998 of 2024):

   •   Boundary Realignment Application (Reconfiguring Lots 3, 4, 5 & 6)

   •   Minor Change Application – Operational Works (OPW20/0145.05)

   •   Minor Change Application – (RAL20/0018)

While we appreciate Council’s assessment of the development applications, we consider the
nature and scope of these applications are minor/repetitive and we believe the total fees below
are not proportionate to the level of assessment required.

The fee for the applications is as follows:

Stockwell are requesting a reduction in application fees on the basis that the applications are
straightforward, minor/repetitive in nature and do not require public notification or referral to
other agencies. The applications have been discussed with Council prior to lodgement, which
in turn reduces both planning and administrative resources during the assessment process.

The minor change applications are relevant to each other and will be assessed concurrently.
Therefore, we respectfully request that the Council consider a reduction in fee of $6,647 which
reduces the total fee to $3,010 for all applications. Stockwell consider this figure is reasonable
and consistent with the level of assessment and resources required by Council.
