This SWMP outlines how stormwater runoff from the site will be managed in order to not adversely
impact the receiving environment.
Roofwater runoff from the proposed new buildings as well as the renovated dwelling shall be directed
to rainwater reuse tanks on site. Tank overflow shall discharge as sheet flow via the existing gullies in
accordance with existing site conditions. Stormwater detention is not considered to be required as the
proposal is for a rural residential development on a 43.2Ha lot.
The development is not considered to be impacted by flooding.
Stormwater treatment should be managed through the implementation of best management practices
on site. Based on the scale of the proposed development, and typical pollutants produced, these
measures are considered adequate.
By implementing the proposed stormwater management system, and providing adequate maintenance,
the downstream environment and neighbouring properties will not experience any adverse deterioration
of water quality as a result of the proposed development.
