1.10 South East Queensland Regional Plan 2023
The South East Queensland Regional Plan 2023 (SEQRP) guides land use and development in the
region. The subject land is located within the Regional Landscape and Rural Production Area of
the SEQRP.
The proposal is consistent with the intent of the SEQRP designation by providing a potentially
consistent use on the site that protects the values of this land by providing a means to future proof
the site from urban and rural residential encroachment. Additionally, the proposed development
will support the economic growth of the local area. Lastly, the use is of a scale consistent with the
SEQRP intent for this designation.
