REPRESENTATION ON DECISION NOTICE
DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR RECONFIGURING A LOT

3 POTTERY STREET, POMONA


Further to Council’s Decision Notice issued for the above development application and the
subsequent suspension of the appeal period, we make the following representation in regards
to Council’s approval.

Condition 13 e.
Condition 13 e. requires installation of street lighting. There is no street lighting currently
existing along the entire length of Pottery Street. Installation of street lighting in this
circumstance is likely to have a detrimental impact upon residents in close vicinity to the new
street light. Further, the street light will be situated where there is no through traffic or
pedestrian footpath, such that the street light is not warranted.

Accordingly, it is requested that condition 13 e. be deleted.
