PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 8 MAY 2018

The canopy of the bowsers has been setback 6.0 metres in accordance with the requirements of
the Noosaville Locality Code.
Presentation to Eumundi-Noosa Road
Eumundi-Noosa Road forms part of the major road network. The Overall Outcomes for the
Noosaville Locality include that the function, safety and visual amenity of the Noosa’s major road
network are protected. There are otherwise limited building design provisions for the site and the
surrounding industrial area.
The proposed plans marked ‘store western elevation’ and ‘store southern elevation’ represent the
elevations which will have the greatest impact upon the streetscape. It is recognised that the
design of the building is basic and does not have great streetscape appeal but it is consistent
with recent approvals for service stations on Eumundi Noosa Road and other industrial buildings
along Eumundi Noosa Road. It is noted that the building has a substantial 15 metre setback from
the front boundary and that landscaping is to be provided in the area between the building and
the front boundary. This landscaping includes mature planting.
The following images detail the proposed western and southern elevation:
