PM Submission - Andrew Large - MCU16/0138.03 & OPW16/0257.03
13 October 2021 Planning and Development Department Noosa Council 9 Pelican Street Tewantin 4565 Qld Dear Madam/ Sir Re:- Development Application MCU16/0138.03 & OPW16/0257.03 wrt 1/113 Gympie Ice Noosaville I wish to express my concern that if this application is granted it will have a detrimental impact on the area From experience starting during the construction and continuing to today with any and all issues that have occurred relating to this property and the balance of the development. As Chair of the Body Corporation I have had first hand experienced no response from the builder, the Body Corp or the individual owners with any issues raised to date. Of most relevance is the ongoing issue of the named property using our Letterbox as a retaining wall for their front yard.which we have referred to the QBCC as the BC and the owner have failed to respond to any communication. As a result of the above experience I have no confidence that any issues that may occur will be addressed appropriately. In the individual, property and the development has limited on site parking and being on Gympie Terrace on street parking is already under pressure. Being a 3 bedroom unit it is highly likely that it will be rented for multiple groups gatherings at anytime and result in multiple cars in attendance. It is my opinion the area has more than enough appropriately developed premised for short term accommodation. It is not necessary to risk the amenity of this area by adding more short term accommodation for the sole purpose of increased returns on properties not originally developed for this purpose. Your assistance in stopping this growing issue expanding across our town Yours Sincerely ■'y // idrew Large 7 5 4/ 117 Gympie Tee <b <.$ A RECEIVED Noosaville Qld 4566 '40 0403 585 238 15 OCT 2021 h k Noosa Council Records x "Da V
