Building works – finalisation of building approvals issued by the former Noosa Building Certifiers

Development Applications where Council is a Concurrence Agency

Building works – siting variations for dwellings
Building works – removal/resiting of buildings
Building works – temporary accommodation in a shed
Building works – dwellings not complying with the acceptable solutions of The Noosa Plan

Enforcement Matters and Proceedings

Issue of a Show Cause Notice
Issue of Enforcement Notice
Commencement of legal proceedings due to a breach of the planning scheme, development
approval or Building Act
Conduct of an appeal relating to a development application
Disciplinary action against a private building certifier

It is recommended the majority of these matters be referred to Councillors for viewing prior to any
exercise of delegation with the exception of the following matters, which be dealt with by officers
for practical operational reasons; or statutory time frame reasons or reasons of public safety:

   Operational Works for civil works, stormwater management, landscaping, rehabilitation, water
    and sewerage
   Operational work – prescribed tidal works where associated with a private residence
   Operational work – clearing of vegetation where associated with a private residence
   Compliance Certificate – Sealing of Survey Plan
   Building works – finalisation of building approvals issued by the former Noosa Building
    Certifiers
   All development applications where Council is a concurrence agency
   Show Cause Notices
   Enforcement Notices for non-complying pools and dangerous building works
