CONSULTATION

External Consultation - Community & Stakeholder
Discussions have been held with Council's solicitor (Wakefield Sykes). He has advised that he
does not have any specific expertise in relation to Native Title claims that has suggested that the
Council retained the services of an expert in that area.
Internal Consultation
Discussion undertaken with Council's Strategic Planning unit which has had experience in
dealing with Native Title issues and indigenous history within the Noosa region.
