6. CONCLUSION & REASONS FOR DECISION
The proposal seeks a Pre-Request Response to change the existing approval for a resource based
spring water bottling plant (Cooroy Mountain Spring Water) at 314 Cooroy Mountain Road, Cooroy
Mountain. The applicant’s proposal does not constitute a minor change due to the impacts
associated with increased truck visits to the site. It is recommended that an alternative solution be
supported which allows for increased truck visits to the site in accordance with conditions of the
original approval. The original conditions provide specific limits to articulated and rigid vehicle visits
and also address safe access to the site.
